As an organization of predominantly African American women, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is uniquely positioned to impact not only the well-being of its membership, but also the well-being of families and communities at large. Journey to Wellness: Committing our Bodies to Physical and Mental Health is now the signature Physical and Mental Health “call to action”. The initiative addresses the challenges of living holistic and health lives. The three-pronged approach to Journey to Wellness includes:

Delta S.I.Z.E.D. – Sorors, Invigorated, Zealous, Energized, and Determined for Physical Activity The sorority in now committed to integrating physical activities during all of its conventions, conferences and state meetings.

Women’s Conference – Nurturing Total Woman – sponsor women in local shelters, chapter, churches and community with spiritual, physical and mental health information and resources

Delta STEP – Delta –(Stepping-Talking-Exercising-Praying) – Step team will work out weekly and the first 30 min will be for chapter members to come out fellowship together while working on the mind (talking) the body (exercising) soul (praying).
